How to Adopt a Healthy Mindset: What I Practice Daily That You Can Do Too!

That’s why I’m going to show you what I did to let go of my old mindset that didn’t help me grow as a person. Also, I want to show you what you can practice daily – and no, you don’t need to devote your whole day to it – that I do and have found it works!

Fixed mindset vs. growth mindset

Before I embarked on my spiritual journey, I don’t think I had a healthy mindset.

I believed that we are who we are and that we’re stuck with our personality for the rest of our lives.

I believed that you simply cannot work & develop yourself – nor change any of the characteristics you're born with!

I didn’t think change for the better is possible.

I had been convinced I’d stay the same miserable self forever.

And those are the thoughts wandering your mind when you have a fixed mindset.

Now I’ve adopted a growth mindset – and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been!

I still work with what I have – but I work on developing my best possible self.

I know that change is possible as long as you devote yourself to it.

I believe now that happiness and content are possible – daily.

And I believe you can learn to do the same.

Here are some of the things I do that you can do as well to adopt a healthy mindset:

Work on your EQ

Become more aware of what you feel and the way you handle emotions. This will massively improve not only the relationships you have with others but the relationship you have with yourself.

Let yourself be curious

Curiosity is a natural instinct that we kill once we grow up. Let yourself be curious again. Explore, ask questions, smile & talk to strangers, meet new people, spend some time in nature – rediscover the world again!

Read as much as you can

Reading helps you learn stuff. The more that you read, the more you will know. And knowledge is one of the most powerful tools you can later on use to shape your mindset.

Travel & experience other cultures

The world is your oyster, really. Travelling changed me and the way I look at the world. I’ve become more open, accepting and kind. I recommend you do the same.

Meditate daily

You and I both very well knew I’m going to say this – but really! Meditating calms your mind and drowns the everyday noise, allowing you to hear what your true self is trying to tell you.

Accept both success & failure

They’re the two sides of the same coin – don’t let either define your worth. You know how the saying goes: Shoot for the moon, but even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.

Accept who you are…

… but don’t stop growing.


Because that’s when the real magic happens!
